Salary: 18,037 pa, 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2024 continuation will be subject to funding

A new Southport Crisis Café Hub led by Sefton CVS is soon to be based at our Southport centre with outreach activities in the wider community. The Southport Crisis Café will be an alternative access point for people, initially mainly Middle Aged Men and Older Adults requiring out of hours support for people experiencing symptoms of mental illness which may result in crisis without support.
We are seeking a Peer Support Mentor to help and assist people who are referred by the Crisis Café Team who are looking for support having experienced, or are experiencing a mental health crisis
The café runs on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings & run by a Crisis team. The role of Peer Mentor involves working daytime office hours to supporting people who are referred by the Café Crisis Team. However, some evening work will be necessary from time to time.
