Parenting 2000 is a registered charity that was set up in 1994 by a group of parents.

Parenting 2000 is here to support you and your family in the Sefton area with a wide range of free, friendly, and confidential services. We offer help for children, teenagers, and parents dealing with everyday challenges.

We provide practical and emotional support for various situations, including:

• Emotional Well-being: Confidential counselling and support for Chidlren aged 6 upwards if you’re feeling anxious, sad, angry, or dealing with difficult life events like bereavement or trauma.
• Family Life: Help with understanding your child’s needs, managing behavior, improving communication, and navigating tough family situations.
• Teen Support: A safe place for young people to connect, socialise, and get support through our Alchemy Youth Clubs and youth mentoring.
• Adult Peer Mentoring: A supportive environment through referrals from Sefton Crisis Cafés if you are struggling with your mental health.
• General Advice:  Resources and information on a variety of topics, including child safety in the home and imporving childrens respiratory health.

Many of our programmes are also available to be commissioned by organisations such as schools, HM Prison services local authorities, businesses etc. Please contact us for further information.
